The Pallets

CMIS structures the areas of control for the user into two sections: the Command Pallet and the Navigation Pallet. This makes all functions easy and specific with the single click of the mouse.

The Command Pallet is where the user decides how and what to do with the information on the screen, including searches and browsing records in the database.

The Navigation Pallet, lets you know where you are and how you got there and allows movement from one module to another with a single mouse click. In every case, the user will always know what screen they are on.

Customizable

CMIS is fully customizable by the user, thus letting you create your own unique look for documents and reports. Also, utilizing the power of FileMaker Pro® ,you can create your own functionality to meet your needs or modify existing functions to better suite your unique process. And best of all, we have an "open source code" policy.

Multi-User

CMIS allows multi-user file capability and file sharing across both Macintosh and Windows platforms. CMIS can handle up to 250 users at one time having full access to all areas of the program.

Spell Checking

With a built-in spell checker, user spelling errors on documents, reports, and layouts is a thing of the past. In addition to default dictionaries, you can also have your own specific or specialty dictionaries.

Passwording

Password Protection of CMIS (utilizing the power of FileMaker®) is unsurpassed. You can easily define and modify access to fields, records, layouts, files and operations.

Import/Export Capabilities

Import and Exporting of your data is made simple and easy with FileMaker®. CMIS supports reading and writing data files with standard formats such as: Text (ASCII tab or comma), XLS, TXT, TAB, WKS, DIF, DBF, and Merge files. This allows you to bring in information from any other application that has import/export capabilities.
